It's hip, it's delicious and it's different!

When was the last time you ate at a restaurant and was told to "pay as you can"? For me, never.

Until I visited The Savory Spoon that is.

Ann Webber, owner of The Savory Spoon believes in giving back to the community, so she establishes "Community Day Mondays" offering patrons their choice of any item from their limited community day menu (I must say it's far from limited, it's a generous list) and pay as they are able...how's that for having a big heart for the community and how timely!

The Savory Spoon, one of Redding's newest restaurants opened its doors to the Redding community this past November 2011 serving a variety of comfort food dishes with a natural twist to it!

Their motto...REAL FOOD, REAL PEOPLE, REAL COMMUNITY fits them appropriately.
