Things to do in Redding

December is a magical month in Redding. Family visits, children activities, shop-happy people, eggnog everywhere, coffee shops playing cheerful music and gorgeous homes showing off their best.

Whether you live here or simply visiting, here are a few things we put together for you to explore this month.

The Cascade Theater- Celebrate the Spirit of the season with this year's dance spectacular "A Cascade Christmas", directed by our very own James Santos of Redding, CA. December 4-6.

Historic Downtown Tree Ceremony and Downtown Open House will be held Friday, December 5, in the Mall parking area. Activities start at 4 p.m. - Historic Tree lit at 7 p.m. - Businesses will have SPECIALS, come and shop! The Light Spectacular lights up on Saturday, December 6 at 5:20 p.m. and runs evenings through New Year's Eve.
