Tips for Real Estate Agents for utilizing home staging in your listings:
1) Hire a "Professional": not all home stagers are created equal, make sure you partner with an accredited professional home stager, who has the training, expertise and inventory of furnishings & accessories to do the job right the first time!
2) Teamwork: as with any job in life, having your "team" of professionals in place will make listing a home simpler, less stressful and more successful.. make sure a home stager is at the top of your list!
3) We'll do your dirty work: often as the listing agent it can be awkward being honest with your client about what they really need to do to get the home ready to show at the risk of offending or overwhelming them.. don't compromise your listing.. hire a professional who is trained and tactful at easing your client through the process and will share invaluable insight from a "first look" point of view.
4) Tick Tock Tick Tock.. Time is of the essence: when is the best time to introduce a home stager? Sooner rather than later. Many agents include us in their home seller introductory packet, website, as well as the first meeting with a potential client. Having your home stager with you at first meetig will impress your client, give them a jump start on getting the home in order, and show them that you are serious, knowledgeable and dedicated about selling their home!
