Old Sacramento Hosts St. Patrick's Day Parade and Activities

Historic Old Sacramento will present the 2009 St. Patrick's Day parade, on Tuesday, March 17th.

The parade which is family friendly, begins in front of the California State Railroad Museum and promises to delight the Irish and Irish at heart with over 60 colorful entries and 900 marchers including Irish step dancers, bagpipers, colorful costumed marchers, school bands, cultural organizations and more!

The parade portion of the St. Patrick's Day celebration is only part of the event. There will also be enjoyable traditional Irish food, live music and fun throughout the district before and after the 6:00 pm parade.

Come celebrate the diversity and richness of our community - rain or shine - at the 13th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in Old Sacramento.
