San Diego Downtown residents can look forward to a few special nights at Petco Park, located in the East Village neighborhood Downtown. The 2011 Petco Park Concert Series will include three dates later this summer. On Saturday, August 20th, Dierks Bentley will perform following the Padres/Florida Marlins 5:35pm game. On Saturday, September 17th, the concert will feature the band "MercyMe" immediately following the 5:35pm Padres/Arizona Diamondback game. The very next afternoon, "Switchfoot" will perform in concert right after the 1:05 game. All you need to enjoy these shows is that day's game ticket and you have an incredible two-for-one afternoon and evening! Remember guys and gals how lucky we are to all live here.
