If you're wanting to do something just a little different, stop at Happy Trails Horse Rentals at 2012A Sunset Avenue in the South Bay, rent yourself a horse, and take a ride to the beach for a ride on the beach!

Happy Trails has many horses for rent and many trails to ride, but who could possibly resist riding a beautiful, magnificent horse in the waves on the only beach in San Diego County where horses are allowed?

Just tell 'em you wanna take a trail ride to the beach!

         

If you need a shorter ride but one that's just as fun, take a sunset or moonlight ride. They last about an hour and include a barbecue dinner, all for just $75 per person.

Various guided trail rides are available, always done to the ability of the least experienced rider in the group in order to ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment.

Special rates are available at the Happy Trails web site ranging from $50 for a one-hour ride to $120 for a beach ride lasting about three hours.

Happy Trails offers much more than "just" horse rentals:

• Wagon and hay rides for birthday parties, weddings, corporate events, parades, or a romantic anniversary ride for two. They can even bring the carriages to your location in San Diego County!
• Summer day camps lasting one week for children age 6 to 15. Activities include daily riding; lessons on horse care, anatomy, and health; arts and crafts; nature hikes; games; and an end-of-week horse show for parents. Camp hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Cost is just $375, and multiple children and multiple week discounts are available.
• Horse training from the ground up. Get your horse to drive, jump, or work cows. Horse rider and owner training from the ground up, too!
• Boarding for private horses.
• Jungle gym for the little ones to play on.
• Petting zoo that includes big goats, little goats, llamas, ponies, and, of course, horses. Just $5 per person.
• Pony rides for the little ones at just $20 per child.
• Catering at your place or theirs.
• Event hosting. No event too big or too small. There is even a ranch house for rent: 3,000 square feet with four bedrooms and three bathrooms.
• Horses for sale or lease.

Whatever you need, Happy Trails will work to get it for you and make your event a memorable one for everyone! Just 15 minutes from downtown San Diego!
