Welcome to Little Italy San Diego CaliforniaTomorrow, Sunday 5/22, 10AM to 6PM is the 18th annual Sicilian Festa (Festival) in the very popular, charming Little Italy village in downtown San Diego.  This festival celebrates Sicilian art, history, culture, food, wine and FUN!  Thousands of people will converge on Little Italy to enjoy all the activities.  On St Patrick's Day they say everyone is Irish, well during the Sicilian Festa everyone is Sicilian!

Bella Sera wines, one of the main sponsors of the Sicilian Festa is bringing Giada De Laurentiis, world renown chef and television personality, to do a
Charming Little Italy San Diego CA cooking demonstration from 2:30 to 3:30.  There will be several stages and a lot of different types of entertainment throughout the day.  All kinds of music, dance troupes and even a colorful flag procession!  Click this link for a schedule of entertainment for the Little Italy Sicilian Festa.

Little Italy (click here to see Little Italy and downtown San Diego homes for sale) has undergone an amazing transformation the last 10 or so years.  For decades it was home to Italian Americans and Sicilian Americans, most had ties to the fishing industry here.
Little Italy Chic Urban CondoThen that industry died off and, to make matters worse for the community, I-5 was built and cut the neighborhood in half.  Urban blight eroded away much of the charm of the community.  But that has really changed and there has been a terrific re-birth of Little Italy.  Now there are fabulous restaurants, shops, hotels and chic condos and historic houses.  Little Italy is once again a fantastic place to live!  If you have an interest in exploring the possibility of purchasing a home in Little Italy call us NOW (800) 928-1672 Ext 200.
