Hello,
So this last Friday I received my Enriched Air (Nitrox) certification for diving and it made me think about a few things, mainly problems. There are so many different technical aspects of diving and Nitrox adds a few more. So what does this mean? It means more potential problems in an already complex task where your life is on the line. So attention to detail and rational thinking are a must in order to make every dive safe, complete and enjoyable. So how does this relate to real estate?
This works with real estate quite the same. Now more than ever, you'll encounter more difficulties with home buying because of how complex transactions have become (repair problems, proper contract writing, HOA's, Title chains, Short sales, Insurance.....) So working with a true professional who is really trained and who constantly improves their skill set is highly valued (most agents don't do this.) So how can you as a consumer find this out? Ask your agent what was the most difficult transaction you have done lately? How many homes have you sold in the last year (70% of agents don't break 12 sales a year.) Lastly ask them what was the last course or book they read/ took to improve their skills.
This should help you dive into the deeper end of the sea and work on a more technical level to ensure you get the best home for you and your family. Life is all details; take a moment to see them. Thanks again for reading.
David
