The 34th annual Berryessa Art and Wine Festival, San José 's oldest neighborhood festival, will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at Penitencia Creek Park .
Festival goers will find a day filled with live musical performances by local students, arts and crafts booths, local and cult wines, micro-brewed beers, and food prepared by community groups. New this year is the Kid's Fun Zone, a carnival area for younger children.

Councilmember Chu will also be making a special performance at 2:00 p.m. during the Berryessa Art and Wine Festival with the Night Kats.
