Since its founding, in 1913, San Marino has been home to some of the most beautiful estate properties in the state of California. In October 2011 there were 10 properties sold according to the local multiple listing service compared to 18 sold the previous month. They ranged in sold price from $887,000 to $2,700,000. In October 2010, there were eight sales and they ranged in price from $818,888 to $6,000,000.

There are currently 23 homes on the market for sale ranging in price from $950,000 to $3,499,500. 17 properties are in escrow and they range in list price from $1,186,000 to $4,500,00 according to the local multiple listing reports from November 15, 2011.

Demand for properties in San Marino remain high with many homes continuing to receive multiple offers.
