Dan- I lived at the Hyatt in thousand Oaks for two months the summer of 2005- What a great hot spot! I loved jogging through all the nieghborhoods and wondering how/if I could afford the area. I love LA and thousand oaks is just outside enough to enjoy the countryside...Has the books lowed down out there???
Im in DC and we lost "the boom" early 2006....fortunatly as I have 4 investment homes in the area we are maintaining 1-2% gains versus the 20-30 we had in 2003/4....
has the "boom" slowed down - sorry cant type
Scott- The boom has slowed down but the prices have not dropped. The prices are stable and the houses are sitting for about 4-6 months before receiving offers. Go to my web page and look at the MLS if you want it will show you clearly what is going on. If you need help with neighborhoods to choose let me know and I would be more than happy to help you.
