Skiing and Skating at Northstar (Truckee-Lake Tahoe), California, December 19, 2011

Late this afternoon, I found myself over in Northstar (Truckee – Lake Tahoe, California), and there were a lot of skiers and snowboarders out taking advantage of another great day here in Tahoe.

It’s true we haven’t had a lot of snow so far, but the conditions have been excellent for making snow. If anyone is worried about not being able to ski, you can relax, Northstar is open for skiing, and there was a lot of fun going on at the Village today.

I saw people out and about having a great time. Skiers and snowboarders were enjoying a good day on the hill. There was live music by the ice skating rink, and all around me people were just enjoying being here in Tahoe. It didn’t hurt that The Village Staff was handing out free smores!
