There is some commotion in the community of Brentwood. It seems that an effort to bring in sewer service to the area is meeting with difficulty. Joel Taylor and almost half of the other homeowners are ready to say goodbye to their tanks and opt for a pipe. Understandably the opposition in this case is sighting financial difficulty as the source of their resistance. Now that the cat is out of the bag something should be done. Disclosure is an important part of our business and if this beautiful area becomes known for septic failures it will have an effect on their pocketbooks. At present, before the construction of a new home begins a secondary site has to be set aside incase of system failure making some lots extremely expensive to build on. What happens to those properties when both locations have absorbed al they can? A home with out a powder room is nothing more than a barn.
