Twain Harte is located about 10 miles East of Sonora. Its a charming town with spectacular natural beauty
of towering Pines, the aroma of Cedars and is close to meadows, lakes. The community offers small-town
charm, cabins, cottages and mountain retreats. The beauty of Twain Harte offers 4 seasons.
You may want to put on your calandar October 4th & 5th for the annual Twain Harte Octoberfest from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
The event is located at Eproson Park in downtown.
The event is free however for $15.00 you can enjoy Beer Tasting, and some German food on Saturday from noon to 3:00pm.
The annual event support the Chambers scholorship fund.
