Whitewater CA not Wisconsin :)

I would like to introduce myself-my name is Kathy McGraw and I work primarily in the Whitewater area by Palm Springs, Ca. This area is known by several different names ie: White Water, West Palm Springs Village, and Whitewater. If you google Whitewater you almost never find us, somehow they have seperated the name into 2 words. But, we're here and the area is growing.

Windmills-you will know you have arrived if you see the windmills. Another part of our area used to be called Windy Point, but it too has changed names; and many call this West Palm Springs. Confusing for sure, but whatever the area is called it is between the cities of Banning and Palm Springs close to the Morongo Resort Casino and Spa, and the Outlet Malls.

There is a lot to enjoy in this area from art, hiking, off-roading, the Majestic San Jacinto Mountains (Palm Springs Ariel Tramway can take you to the top) to photography and a laid back lifestyle. Give it a try, see what the area has to offer.

Well, welcome to the network :)

Now I know the windmills that you had been ranting about.

Kathy, I didn't get a comment on my first posts either.  I'm not sure it means it was terrible, it's just that people didn't know you....aren't you glad you hung in?  I am :)

Carole-yes, absolutely I am glad....I never let something like this get the better of me......Thank you very much, amazing what happens when we have perseverance :)  Now, this lonely post has 2 comments...thank you....

Hi Kathy,

I Was searching through your blogs to find one with less than 10 comments to comment on. I found the one titled "..........my 4 worst posts" , it led me to this. I wonder what would happen if you put your windmill picture on that post?

Anthony- I think you have something there......and now that I don't have to go find this one again, I just might be doing that.....thanks.

wow... Here's how Kathy got her start on AR back in 2007....

I am from SE Wisconsin but I don't believe I have ever been to Whitewater WI... Or maybe I did go to a party in the area once.... one of my ex-brother-in-laws graduated from UW Whitewater.  Neal has first posts in Week in review... he's relinking not reBlogging.

I will have to look at a map to find where you are, my CA geography is pretty bad other than San Diego and San Francisco areas.

Maureen- Oh this lonely Post....yes I think I wrote this as one of my first ones....it still doesn't have a picture :)  So, you are familiar with Whitewater WI.....I never knew anyone that actually was from there, how cool is that?  I wrote this as Google always confuses us. with WI :)  Thanks for sharing......is there anything else special besides the University in your Whitewater :)

I don't think so.  Best business school in WI back 20 + years ago from what I remember.  I may have gone to a party In Whitewater in the early 80's when I lived in Rockford IL but maybe not...  maybe it was in another town...  Neal has my first post in his thing too.

Kathy,
Your first post is not nearly as bad as mine.....I did not even understand the format.  :0(

Maureen-I read your Post.....ahh I remember coming on here and people talking about points for shoes LOL :)

Cynthia-I am smiling ....with respect of course, as I couldn't figure out your  blog :) :)  We sure have learned a lot......

I have to go back and read more of those... first posts I got sidetracked.  Missy Caulk's is very funny.  She has two posts basically in one.  She plugs a listing and then talks about an unrelated event.

Kristal was the unofficial welcoming community at the point that I joined and she greeted more than one question about what were the points for with a story about shoes.
