No major changes to report this week: currently active Whittier Residential Real Estate listings (that includes Whittier Homes and Condos) are at 468 (compared to 467 last week). Also no major changes or shifts within price ranges. Whittier Condos are up 3, Whittier Homes are down 2.

Total brand new Whittier Homes and Condo listings since 11/08/10: 24.*

Based on the lack of significant changes, the percentage of active Standard listings compared to listings of homes in some state of foreclosure has remained relatively unchanged as well:

In addition to the currently active listings, 104 Whittier Homes and 177 Whittier Condos are in Back-up Offer Status, 12 Whittier Homes and 21 Whittier Condos are in Pending Status.

Additional changes in Listing Status compared to last week (11/08/10):

Total Whittier Homes and Condo listings cancelled: 11.
Total Whittier Homes and Condo listings expired: 7.
Total Whittier Homes and Condo listings on hold ("do not show"): 21.
Total Whittier Homes and Condo listings withdrawn:1.
Total Whittier Homes and Condo listings closed Escrow: 23

Since November 1, 45 Whittier Properties have successfully closed Escrow: 6 Whittier Condos (ranging from $130,000 to $290,000) and 39 Whittier Homes (ranging from $195,000 to $1,370,000). In the same time frame of the first 15 days in the month, 65 Whittier Homes and Condos sold in October 2010 (10/01/10 - 10/15/10), 44 sold in November 2009 (11/01/09 - 11/15/09).
