Whittier Grand Illumination Update

Just wanted to give everybody a quick update on the Grand Illumination ceremony on December 3. Rick's Drive In & Out Burgers was packed with fellow Whittierites waiting to see the tree lighting.

Before the event, I had a chance to meet the brand new Miss Uptown Whittier, Ariana Rodriguez, who will also be representing Uptown Whittier in this year's Whittier Christmas Parade.

Spectators were also able to see performances by the Whittier Highschool Cheer Team as well as the Whittier High Marching Band.

Also present was Mayor Greg Nordbak who counted down to the spectacular tree lighting.
