I had a closing yesterday on some new construction in the Villas at Wheatlands. Suburban Homes was the builder. It went smoothly. After wards, we went back to the property, got her key and set the lock. Then we decided on a celebratory drink at Southlands Mall. The traffic was a little crazy. I had forgotten about the Friday night free concert. The parking lot was just packed. We went to the restaurant and got our drinks and an appetizer. After wards we went and listened to the concert. The Nacho Men were playing. They sang quite a few songs from the '80's; from groups like Chicago, Michael Jackson, Earth, Wind & Fire and even some Neil Diamond. The crowd was both young and old, and even some dogs. There was some face painting for the kids, some classic cars and lots of dancing in the streets.

The free concert series at Southlands is almost over. Just one more week and

it's over until next year. It was an absolutely beautiful night. It was about 80 degrees and a great way to end a productive day. My client was a happy homeowner and I got a paycheck and a great friend that will live close by.

On my way home, I had to pull over to take another picture of the gorgeous Colorado sky. I think it was a perfect ending for a perfect day.
