A blog entry from our wine blogging website, www.twodivinegirls.ning.com. Anybody out there up for a great Colorado wine?
here are a few good Colorado reds, I like the Holy Cross Abbey Cab and table red from Canyon City. Also the Plum Creek Merlot is great from Palisade. We picked up a new wine from St. Augustine Vineyards, White Chick Wine, great bottle for about 10 bucks, located out of boulder and owned by woman.
This picture is from the Castle Rock Wine fest and is the actual owner of the St. Augustine Vineyards.

Yes Colorado has 100's of wineries, the most of them get thier grapes from the western slope;

Have this weekend.
I liked the 2005 Concetta Cabernet, very aromatic bouquet, smells like nutmeg.
