Conservative Buyers Consider Westlake Village in Broomfield

There is something for everyone in Westlake Village in Broomfield. Every style you could want is there whether you are a baby boomer and prefer a ranch or whether you are someone younger with or without a family and prefer a two story, tri-level or 4-level.

What I like about Westlake Village is that the homes there are older, most of them built in the 1970's, but are priced very moderately and I think many buyers in today's market are wanting to play it safe and buy conservatively. To that I say, "Way to go, I like it!!"

In Westlake Village, a HUD owned ranch, similar to this, sold in Nov. 2011 for $110,000. Oh and did I mention that this house also had an attached two car garage, a full basement, and no HOA? I think a home such as this is a great alternative for a retired person or couple to purchase rather than a condo. or town home. Here you would still have your own private fenced yard, a double attached garage and a basement for storage as well.

Those ranches are many times being remodeled and selling for almost twice that price after the remodel. So it could be a great investment as well. Tri-levels and Bi-levels can be purchased in the low to mid $100's as well. Many of the homes here are dated and in need of updating, but you can have yourself a nice moderately sized home for a great price, after making minimal improvements.

Westlake Village is conveniently located about 1 mi. west of I-25 between 128th and 136th Avenues in Broomfield. It is close to grocery stores and near the new Orchard Marketplace which has a great variety of restaurants and shopping.
