Cherry Hills Village Market Report Aug 09

Cherry Hills Village home sales picked up in August, almost doubling July sales. I said this the last two months, but I'll say it again - last time I promise :). One house in June sold for 43% of the original asking price. 43%! That is the lowest since Jan 2006 (that's how far back we are tracking). This year NINE houses have sold for less than 70% of the original price. Three of those were bank owned homes. In 2008, in all of 2008 the number was FIVE or 6% of all houses sold. All but one of those were at the latter part of 2008.
