This is a First- We Have a "Cold Day" in Colorado Springs Today

I have been bragging in some posts lately about how sunny and beautiful it is in Colorado Springs. Well, not today! Almost all of the schools and several businesses are closed today because of the slight amount of snow coupled with the below zero weather we have. The low today is actually -16 degrees! That is not even factoring in the windchill factor.

The streets are pretty good, but I guess it is just too darn cold outside. We rarely see below zero temps. around here. The good news is that if you give it a couple of days or so it will be sunny again. That is what is great about Colorado Springs.

Just two days ago, I was running outdoors in shorts.Today, I let my dog outside to go to the bathroom for two minutes and he came back inside looking at me like I was crazy for sending him out there.

I do still have a couple of appointments today with clients.My broker canceled our meeting at the office because it is too cold. Are we a bunch of wimps here or what? Well, at least my kids are enjoying the "Cold Day." Too bad there isn't enough snow for a snowman. I guess even snowmen don't like it this cold.
