Historic Homes of Denver: Wine & Food Series - Hapa Sushi the Gem for Sushi in Cherry Creek

Have you heard of Hapa Sushi? It is great! Cherry Creek is the hip and happening Historic Neighborhood of Denver. In the course of any year, a number of restaurants come and go. Hapa Sushi has staying power, and for good reason! Located at 2780 E 2nd Ave at the southwest corner of 2nd and Detroit, Hapa Sushi is attractive, convenient and serves great food!

The decor of Hapa Sushi is ultra modern, but it is really the food that shines! I visited Hapa Sushi this past Wednesday evening with a dear friend of mine named Steve. Steve has always liked Taki's, and I'll give it an "ok" but Hapa Sushi is definately my choice for sushi in Cherry Creek.

Our waiter was extremely personable and very knowledgable regarding the fresh offerings of the day. I can honestly say there was nothing That I could possibly fault in our entire meal.

One of the things that Hapa Sushi is known for is it's signature rolls. There are rolls with names such as the 69 roll, the Booty Call roll, the foreplay roll and the climax roll. Of course, they were and are looking for a reaction to the names, but seriously people, these rolls are fabulous!

Happy Hour and Hapa Sushi is well worth the trip with the special being 2 rolls for $7.00. That includes California Rolls, Salmon Avocado Rolls and the Rock 'n Roll with is filled with spicey rock shrimp in Hapa's secret sauce (delicious).
