Brian and Rita,
This is great to hear about. Maybe I'll take our daughter down there. Thanks for sharing.

Bret and Meredith - You are welcome. We have gone in on a couple of these free days and got the tickets only to the exhibits and it was wonderful. ~Rita
I lived in Denver for twenty years until 1999 and have never heard of this museum. Is it newer?
Dena - I had no idea how long it's been around, so I went and looked it up. It was founded 1900! Opened to public on July 1908. Other parts such as the Planetarium and IMAX theatre were added on later. here is the link http://www.dmns.org/main/en/General/AboutTheMuseum/History/ ~Rita
Dah! Of course I know where it is, been there a dozen times. Thank you for the link and the map. Once I saw the picture of the building I knew where it was. Just the blonde kick'n in - Thanks for the information!
We have something similar at the museum of glass in Tacoma. The mayor and council members like to take advantage of this ... patting themselves on the back during election season. I'll bet you find some elected officials at your museum also.
