Sports in Denver ~ Denver Marathon
Ok, I admit it, it may be a little late to start training for this year's Denver Marathon, but if you have been training and are ready there is still time to register for the largest Marathon in Colorado. Strap on the shoes and head out to the Denver Marathon starting line on Oct. 19th - this coming Sunday. Race Day registration is available. Half a Marathon and ING Marathon Relay and Denver Marathon Kids Mile are also on the schedule for this Rocky Mountain Running event in Denver. The Denver Marathon in a qualifier for the Boston Marathon.
The Marathon Route will take runners past several Denver landmarks including Denver Art Museum, Union Station, Coors Field, City Park, Cheesman Park and Washington Park. The Race starts and ends in front of the State Capitol building. There will be several stretches along the race route for spectators to cheer the runners on.

The Denver Marathon start time is 7:00 AM Sunday OCT 19th.
There will be some road closures and you can find the specifics on the Denver Marathon website.
