Finally some Colorado Property. Wow that is Beautiful country right there.
My family and I spent a wonderful week at a timeshare in Hawthorne. We were so excited to spend lazy summer afternoons on Lake Dillon, but when we arrived, it was closed to swimming! Thank goodness there was an awesome pool center in Hawthorne.
Jason, Beautiful photos! I have never been to Colorado, definitely have to get there.
Lake Dillon doesn't allow swimming in the lake due to it being a major source of Denver's drinking water, but even if they did let you swim in the lake you would need a frog suit due to the cold temperatures. Even though it looks refreshing don't forget Lake Dillon is a high mountain reservoir. The lake does allow for some of the best high altitude sailing in the country as well as boating, kayaking, and great fishing.
Jason - beautiful pictures and great post. Growing up, my family had a townhouse in Wildernest and we spent many, many weekends, spring breaks, summer vacations and ski time in Dillon and the surrounding area. Thanks for the reminder of those good times! I only wish my parents hadn't sold the place in '92 - I would be taking my kids there all the time!
Do they still have the best fireworks display ever over the lake? Those were good times!
Great pics. It looks like a beautiful place to live.
Great pictures as usual Jason, of course you have great material to work with!
The pictures i am sure you were referring to were taking by me Brian Lloyd but for some reason jason decided to remove my post.
