Last night as I was heading out the door from my home in Highlands Ranch for a walk, it looked like it was going to be an amazing sunset. I was right.

I am lucky as I have a very nice mountain view from my home and am fortunate to see amazing sunsets on a fairly regular basis.

Living so close to the foothills, I often have the storms roll in quickly but seems like they are generally over pretty fast as well.

Last night was one of those - the clouds rolled in around 5:30 but by 7:30 they were on their way out - leaving an amazing sunset behind.

Sometimes I have Denver real estate clients that are very specific and know that they want to be able to view sunsets like this on a regular basis. To have a mountain view property will be a bit more, but it certainly can be worth it. If you are looking for a home with a view, make sure your Denver Realtor® tells you how to research land that could someday interfere with your view.

Colorado is just so gorgeous, with the constantly changing sky. Thanks for the memories!
Very nice sunsets, I recently blogged photos of my sunsets here in SW Florida :) I love sunsets.
Beautiful colors! Makes for an enjoyable walk I'm sure.
Steve: I certainly know I could live in Colorado and live in a part of the state with those views, Karen
Steve--Beautiful photos...so glad that you shared them! :)
Steve-love the photos. In some ways your photos help make me feel connected to my son and family in Highlands Ranch. I'm coming your way for Christmas so maybe among all the madness we can grab a cup of coffee!
Thanks for all of the comments everyone - there are often great sunsets here to get shots of.
Cindy - Let me know if/when you do head out this way - although we are having very vague thoughts about being in the DC area for the holidays. How funny is that...
