Shoeboxes for kids with my $220 in savings from Kodak

IF I SAVED $220 THIS YEAR I WOULD....

Nothing like creating joy for children that are less fortunate than we are. With the $220.00 in savings from Kodak and at a cost of about $8.00 per shoe box you could create gifts of joy for over 27 children.

The items that we put in here are mostly school supplies, puzzles, reading books and little stuffed animals. Simple to us with our video games, ipods, iphones and such, but to a child in another country, it is perhaps their first gift wrapped present ever.

Other suggestions are to put photos of your family inside this shoebox along with the letter to that special child, letting him or her know that he or she is special. This is a great and inexpensive opportunity to give back for all that we have been blessed with. You just have to make sure you label your gift, boy or girl and the appropriate gift the gift is for.

Find a local community, or church and more than likely they are participating in the shoebox gifts. I know that my $220 dollars will bring joy to a lot of needy children.

These shoebox gifts are shipped all over the world and how exciting is it to not have any idea where your gift will go, but know that somewhere, there will be a little innocent child, wide eyed with excitement because of your shoebox.

Take the time, be creative, design these little gifts with your own creativity and share your heart with someone less fortunate.

That is what I will do with the $220 in savings.

"THIS POST IS FOR THE ACTIVE RAIN "I COULD SAVE $220 WITH KODAK CONTEST" I have a chance to win a free Kodak Printer, $220 in cash to use for my idea in my blog post, and an extra $100 to use towards ink!" WooHoo !
