What you need to know about RULE HB 1091.

By July 1 of 2009 The Real Estate commission will require each listing to disclose the requirements specific to HB-1091. The basic requirement here will be installing a Carbon Monoxide detector. This can be combined with a smoke detector. The alarm must be installed in all homes with a Fuel Fired Heater or Appliance, Fireplace or attacted garage. It also much be installed 15 feet from the entrance to each lawfully used room used for sleeping.
