Stressed and so sick of the spammers...Ugh

Has anyone else been getting spam comments on their blogs. This stuff is really annoying and quite crazy. It makes no sense to me why peple do this. Don't they have better things to do then waste peoples time with their nonsense. Sorry that I am ranting...I have just been hit with one thing after another from scam artists. Ugh..
