Boulder Valley Board of Education Gives Unanimous Approval to BVEA and BVCEA Contracts for 2009-2010 School Year

BOULDER: The Boulder Valley Board of Education met in special session this afternoon (12/18) and unanimously approved 2009-2010 employee association agreements between the Boulder Valley School District (BVSD) and the Boulder Valley Education Association (BVEA) and the Boulder Valley Classified Employee Association (BVCEA) respectively. Both associations formally notified BVSD administration on Thursday (12/17) that each of their memberships had ratified their tentative agreement for successor contracts.

With the school board’s action today, employees of the two associations will receive an additional 1 percent cost of living raise to be implemented retroactively with the December payroll.
