SMDRA Realtor of the Year Metro Brokers Angela Burdick

This years SMDRA Realtor of the Year is none other than Metro Broker's very own Angela Burdick<!--more-->

Interviewer: Hi, I am Scott Shields, Director of Marketing with Metro Brokers and we are down here at the 2010 Colorado Association of Realtors State Convention. I am joined here with Metro Brokers, Angela Burdick. Angela, thank you for coming

Angela Burdick: Thank you, Scott, I am glad to be here.

Interviewer:And, we hear some wonderful news that you were just awarded the title of 'Realtor of the Year' with the SMDRA, correct?

Angela Burdick: I was it's such a humbling experience; you have no idea.

Interviewer:And what's, tell me a little more about what it means to be 'Realtor of the Year'?

Angela Burdick: Well basically it's what we as realtors do everyday. We are out there working, we are servicing our clients, we are servicing committees; we work with the association but it's out there just going through and being ourselves and giving of ourselves and, oh suddenly I am being recognized through SMDRA for doing what all of us do. It's just kind of, amazing!

Interviewer:But, nice to be awarded by your peers, per se, correct?

Angela Burdick: It really is, it's very touching.

Interviewer:Well, I am sure that the South Metro Denver Realtor Association knew what they were doing to choose you 'The Realtor of the Year' for 2010, correct, or was it 2011?

Angela Burdick: 2010.

Interviewer:2010. Well, again congratulations. It's a wonderful honor I am sure, and I am sure that we are going to see a lot more of you in the real estate industry and keep up your good work.

Angela Burdick: Well, thank you Scott. I really appreciate it, thank you for being here.
