"I Walk & Ride Safely" - Teaching YOUR Children About Safety!

Attention Parents! This class is NOT for you! It's for your Kindergartners. The goal of the sessions, starting a week before classes is to teach young kids how to get to and from school safely! It is open to kindergartners, Early Childhood students and first graders.

Children will learn how to walk to school or ride a school bus safely. Instructions are given under actual traffic conditions, including crosswalks, signs, traffic signals, automobile traffic, and crossing guards.

Parents and their children, including older, are encouraged to attend the free program this fall, starting the week of August 15th (depending on the school your child attends). This is a great program I definitely recommend, especially to families new to the area. Please take advantage of the free sessions. They are not long and can provide great information for the youngster who will be walking/riding to class! Bus schedules are also available here.
