The Literacy Project of Eagle County Colorado Fashion Show Fundraiser: Glitter in Chic

The Vail Valley hosts some of the most fun fundraisers of anywhere I’ve ever lived! This Saturday, The Literacy Project will be hosting the 2^nd Annual Fashion Show- Glitter in Chic! Only $25 for a ticket, silent auction, and entertainment. What a great event!

The Literacy Project of Eagle County serves over 400 students per year, some learning English as a second language. Providing our Eagle County residents a valuable service to improve their reading skills, improve confidence for job interviews and job skills to make Eagle County a better place to live.

The Study Friends Program is for younger students referred by school counselors. They are provided a one-on-one tutor or “study-buddy” to encourage and mentor them on their academic challenges.

Family Literacy works in three different locations in Eagle County with kids ages 3-5. Family Literacy focuses on preparing these pre-K children for the entrance to Kindergarten.
