Summit County Colorado Real Estate Market Update
January 2012
How did the Summit County Colorado Real Estate Market in January 2012 compare to that of January 2011? The number of transactions in Summit County are up 16.42%. Last month, 78 transactions took place compared to only 67 in January of 2011.
This shows a slight increase in the level of market activity over last year, which we and many other local real estate brokers would agree is carrying over from the end of 2011. For those buyers who are not looking for a quick flip but to buy a second home or investment property for a longer period of time while enjoying the lifestyle of owning property in Summit County, it is still a great time to buy. Average price levels are still down, motivated sellers still exist, and interest rates continue to hold at record-breaking, low levels.
