Breckenridge Colorado Ice Skating at Maggie Pond

Wow it's been four years since Maggie Pond in Breckenridge Colorado has be open for ice skating. On Saturday the pond will be open from 5 -8 p.m. There will be music, refreshments and an appearance by the skating mascot, "SnowBall," to help welcome visitors for this Grand Re-Opening.

Maggie PondRegular hours for ice-skating will be daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. A professional Zamboni machine will resurface the pond daily. Ice-skate rentals will be available through Breckenridge Sports in the Village Plaza area. The Maggie Pond is located just behind The Village at Breckenridge and Main Street Station at the base of Peak 9. This is a great inexpensive way to treat the whole family.

You can't beat the breathtaking back drop of the Breckenridge ski area Directly behind the pond. After skating take a stroll along Breckenridge main street for a fun Victorian shopping experience.

Wow, what a lovely winter picture!

I am originally from Colorado Springs and Breckenridge is easily my favorite mountain town.  Just saw on FOX News all the snow you have been getting.  WOW!  Stay warm and get fresh tracks.

It's actually snowing right now, and yes we have been getting allot of snow. I believe we are 125% of average right now but were are still not even in the top 10 snowiest winters.
