What do you do as a REALTOR when your county is labeled as a declining market but your area of the county isn't? Park County near the Bailey area is seeing home prices drop which is driving down the numbers for the entire county.
My area of the county is still seeing many buyers. I work out of the Guffey Colorado area. Our market is still moving homes and land. Many second homes and large tracts of land are available. Some prime real estate is as close as 20 minutes to Florrisant or 20 minutes to Canyon City. Buyers from California, Texas and the metropolitan areas of Colorado are closing on offers.
Lending is becoming a little tighter, but if you have good credit scores and a little bit of cash then the rewards and opportunities available are virtually limitless.
The snow is melting and the roads are clear. It is time to have a second look at the abundance of the area.
