Don't forget, clocks fall back an hour on Sunday, November 7. Be prepared for a dark drive home from work starting next week.

The following Veterans Day activities are scheduled for downtown Pueblo. Please thank a veteran on Veterans day and everyday!

- Pueblo Chieftain Veterans Day Parade

November 6, at 10am, Union Avenue Historic District.

The Pueblo Chieftain Veteran's Day Parade, "Pueblo's Salute to the Spirit of Our Veterans," hosted annually by the Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce, will take place Saturday, November 6, at 10am beginning at Union Avenue and "B" Street, heading down Union Avenue to 1st Street, left on 1st Street ending at Greenwood.

- Veterans Bridge Ribbon Cutting

November 11, Breakfast 7:30am-9:30am - Bridge Dedication 11:00am - Lunch 12:30pm-2:00pm

Pueblo, as the "Home of Heroes", has just completed a bridge over the downtown Riverwalk dedicated to Pueblo's veterans. Many friends and families have donated to have their honorably discharged or active service veteran recognized with the veteran's name, branch and dates of service included on the bridge.

Complimentary breakfast and lunch will be available for all honored veterans listed on the bridge. Breakfast and lunch will be available for all other guests for $5.00 per person. For more information please call 719-583-HARP (4277).
