Annual Classic Car Show At The Village At Mariner's Point East Haven CT

When I was little our family would take Sunday drives and we used to play a little game to keep us occupied. We would try and name the make and model of every car we passed on the road.

Since that time I've always had a love of these classic, vintage cars.  My dad once owned a 1946 black Cadillac convertible that he kept parked in our garage.  He also at one time had a red Model-T Ford.  I don't remember what year it was made but I do remember him taking us for rides in it in the parking lot across the street from where we lived and honking the horn as we cheered with glee.

This past Sunday the Annual Classic Car Show at The Village at Mariner's Point was held from 10:00am to 2:00pm.  It brought back such wonderful memories and a glimpse into the past to view so many cool looking colorful collectible cars.

In addition to the awesome cars, there was great food, a homemade baked goods sale, raffles and music.  The proceeds of this annual fundraiser at The Village at Mariner's Point benefited the CT Chapter of The Alzheimer's Association.

There was a great turnout, the weather was absolutely perfect and it was a wonderful way to spend a few hours and help out a worthy cause.
