Northwest Park in Manchester Connnecticut was where this year's Manchester Relay for Life was held. Northwest Park is a hidden gem in Manchester. Located on Tolland Turnpike, it is the home to the Manchester Silkworms, a boundless playground, and the Children's Butterfly Garden. There is also a great pavillion to rent for your next outside activity. Manchester's Relay for Life was held on June 6-7, where many teams walked during the 24 hour event. Many schools in district as well as individual teams, like mine walked and raised money for the American Cancer Society. This event happened because of the many dedicated volunteers.
