1st Annual Meriden Best Buffalo Wing Contest If you like Buffalo wings like I do, then here's your chance to chow down on them to your hearts content. On Wednesday, July 20th, il Monticello Restaurant in Meriden will be the site of the 1st Annual "Wing"-ing It Night where locals will converge to decide who has the best Buffalo wings in four categories: The stellar list of vendors taking part in the Best Wing competition is as follows:
Hosted by The Meriden Record-Journal, admission is $10 and the event begins at 5:30 PM and runs until 7:30 PM. Get there early and inquire at the door about the 2 Alarm Fire Wing Eating Contest that will take place at 7 PM. There are only six spots available and pre-registration is required.
