CHRISTMAS CRAFT AND BAKE SALE
345 MAIN STREET (TRINITY CHURCH)
PORTLAND, CT
It is that time of the year, for crafts and bake sales. This weekend is no exception for the in Portland, CT. They are holding the "Craft and Bake Sale", this Saturday, November 15th from 9am TO 2pm.
There will be hand crafted, a tea cup auction (which is always fun), and I'm sure lots of tasty baked cooks. You can even cut your own Christmas Tree. I just wonder if it is a little early for that.. maybe you can just tag them for now. So, if you are in the Portland area tomorrow.. stop by and pick up some goodies.

I love to see people mentioning "Christmas" again.. that is the way I feel it should be. Everyone should be able to celebrate the way they wish... not the generic "Happy Holidays".

Valerie I drove by your office today and I saw a couple of signs for this event on the way there. I hope they get a good turn out.
Valerie, crafts and baked goods ~ I am so there. A great time of year. I am with you with using "Christmas" as a word as well. I never got away from it as some did.
Well the picture of that kid is adorable... and I'm not even a big fan of little kids. (sshhh) That picture almost makes me reconsider my little kid stance... almost =P j/k I think he'll be a big draw! =)
Valerie-I love this kind of event. I think I did this type of thing in a former life. Hope you enjoy if you go.
Sounds like FUN! As far as the Christmas trees go... I have several friends that will be putting their tree up soon. Like the idea of baked goods. You know I still need to make the apple cake. I still have all the stuff but the orange juice. We finished that off last weekend.... I did make two pumpkin pies today and gave them out.
George.. With the rain today, I hope it does not detour anyone from going. All the more reason to go out and shop.. right?
Gary.. *Merry Christmas*. I agree with you 100% on that issue. Everyone has the right to celebrate the holiday season the way they choose.
Lisa.. Thanks for commenting. I guess the advertising worked.. you like the child, which pulled your attention to the ad.
Pat.. I would have loved to have gone. But my two sons had friends sleepover last night... and there is no way I am leaving them home alone. Can you imagine four 11 year old boys in a house by themselves? If I went, I wonder if the house would still be standing when I got home. LOL.
Teresa.. One of my sons wants to decorate the house this weekend for Christmas. When I think about it, I can't come up with a good reason why not. So, guess what I'll be doing tomorrow. Pumpkin pie..hhmmm that gives me an idea.. can you guess what it is?
Val-Hope the event was good. It sounds like it would be alot of fun.
Laura.. I was stuck at home yesterday, and I wasn't able to go. I wish some of these events were held on Sundays.. but I guess with people going to church, they don't feel it is appropriate. Yesterday I had 4 boys around the house, to leave them alone would have been a huge mistake. I don't think I would have a house left to come back to. LOL
