Friends of Karen

I learned about a wonderful Organization this week. Friend of Karen is a nonprofit organization that supports families of children with life-threatening illnesses. They help with household and medical expenses, transportation to and from treatments, childcare and support for siblings, psychosocial support and much more. They support families in CT and NY and make a significant difference in families lives. Several years ago, my cousin was diagnosed with leukemia and unfortunately he lost his battle with the disease. I am part of a large family and it was a very difficult time. I am happy to know that organizations like this provide much needed support for families!
