FHA Okay With Upfront Tax Credit?

Great News! It was announced by Secretary of Housing and Development Shaun Donovan at the National Association of Realtors that the Federal Housing Authority wants to enable first time homebuyers access to the $8000 tax credit at closing. This would allow for these monies to be used toward down payment, and closing costs removing a HUGE hurdle for many first time homebuyers.
