Gorgeous, picturesque, memorable, beautiful, these are a few words that come to mind when I take this route practically on a daily basis. I feel blessed to be able to view all that nature has given. Knowing that there are those out there who have never driven this path makes me sad. My husband and I often ride our Harley with friends along this great stretch of roadway. Nothing better on earth than smelling cut grass, cut pine or maybe even fresh manure!
With the recent addition of The Brown Cow Cafe, located near the Sterling end of RT 49 N, we can stop, order up some of the best ice cream around and sit and relax. And if you like things homemade but don't have time to do it yourself, they have several items that just might be what you are looking for. Now that I am thinking of it, I think I will go for a little ride...... till next time, smile, take a deep breath and enjoy the rest of this day. Dee
