The Big Dig Out in Connecticut!

As I drove around this morning, for my appointments, I was able to grab a few good shots of roads that have been cleaned out and some of those, that still need big shovels to help. There is a city in Connecitcut, Bridgeport, where they featured the neighborhood on the news, this morning. Apparently, they were not waiting for the town to dig them out. They took a day and a night, and dug out their own road! Everyone grabbed a shovel and dug snow! A lady said that it was good to meet some of her neighbors and work along side of others. She believed it pulled her neighborhood, closer:) So, lots of snow, can be a good thing!

This makes us realize that together we can do much more, than if we try to go it alone. The same for your business, is true. Team up, network, be social, be visable and your business will grown beyond your expectations.

You can see, on the right side of the street, that the plows came back, this morning. He pushed snow, into the woods, about every fifteen feet or so. This road was a single lane, on the curves, yesterday! So, thank you, Mr. Plow Driver for digging out the street! I drive a Toyota 4 Runner, during the winter months. Imagine if I were in a car? The photos of the snow views would be about, ten inches lower.

While I was taking my dog for a walk, we came upon this imprint of a wheel, left in the snow!

Trying to pull out of a road, is very dangerous, with these huge snow mounds. They are at the ends, of pretty much, every street and road. I now, look for streets and roads that have traffic lights. This view is from an SUV, so I am higher up, than a car would be.
