As I watched the ball drop for New Year’s Eve, I started to think about some of the events that will generate blog fodder for the year. We know there will be the typical posts on the resolutions that just might make it to the end of January.
February will bring several posts on the Patriot win of Super Bowl; the beginning of spring training for baseball, and Mardi Gras in New Orleans.
March will carry the moans of the winter experience in the northern part of the country, and the posts on the Kick-off of the Spring Housing market.
April will carry the posts on the opening of the baseball season, the first flowers of spring and the Cherry Blossoms in Washington DC.
May will carry many posts on how to make sure your house is the first to get sold in the neighborhood; how buyers need to make sharp decisions on their purchase and to work with the professional that will make that purchase be most rewarding.
June will be full of wonderful posts on neighborhoods, listings, and success stories. It could be about time for an ActiveRain contest, they are wonderful learning experiences.
July will have our Independence Day, the baseball All Star game in Kansas City, and then the Summer Olympics in London.
August is the start of the summer fair season, people still talking about their vacations and the rush of activity as the home buyers chase to get their purchases done before the kids start back to school.
September starts with Labor Day, the chase for the final playoff positions in baseball, and the great opportunities in the real estate market.
October will be great for the colors in the North East, the change of seasons; the teams playing in the World Series from Philadelphia and Boston; and the Halloween experience.
November brings the onset of the cooler months, the great opportunities for buyers still available in the market, and the Thanksgiving celebrations in Canada and the US.
December will have the harried posts on preparing for the Holidays, trying to close out the year, straining to complete another December challenge, and looking forward to the New Year. Didn’t we just complete this?

Regardless of what we blog about, we will blog. It becomes the reality of bringing in new business; the daily interaction to friends and making new friends. For someone that doesn’t blog, there is no understanding. For those of us that blog, we know, and they will never understand.
I will be looking forward to reading and posting those blogs, will you as well?
