I was driving by Trap Falls Reservoir in Shelton close to a 4:40 p.m. sunset today after enjoying a beautifully, warm 70 degree autumn day. What a treat after that 10 inches of snow we had last week!
I pulled over at the Bic Headquarters and in just a few quick minutes, I was able to capture some:
vibrant fall color

the sunset at the reservoir……

and then I turned to the east and look what I found….
Waxing Gibbous Moon (ok....I admit I looked that up ;-)

If I waited a little longer, I may have been able to capture some stars!
What a change in literally just a few minutes in time. Very cool.......
