There are so many reasons why folks (especially those with schoolage children) flock to Trumbull CT (located in northern Fairfield County) only 60 minutes to New York City - the home values are great compared to other towns in lower fairfield county - our schools have a great reputation, our Parks are second to none, and we are ideally located within minutes to major highways for commuters. Today in the Connecticut Post, there was a very in-depth article comparing the CAPT test results (taken by all highschool sophmores) for area highschools. Aside from Regional 9 which includes Easton and Redding--Trumbull students overall do very well.
