Residential Street Sweeping to Resume March 24

Those of us that live in the District dreaded the 'Alternate Side' Street parking restrictions. The street sweeping is a weekly service in the more heavily traffic areas of the city.

The service was suspended last November; as it is every Winter, when the weather gets cold. Visit the DPW site for more INFO.

Those of us that forget to move out cars on the posted cleaning days/time; know that the fine is $30. Typically the District gives residents about a week before the tickets start to fly. But why risk it? Start moving your cars now to get used to it!
